PGSC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The PGSC 2012 Annual general meeting will be held this April 4, 2012 at 7pm.  The meeting will be held at the Carmel Restauraunt basement meeting room 1502 Hwy 97 South.  The meeting will have some  important topics and events to discuss along with the election of directors.   Come to discuss these topics and bring up other important ones to the group.  Everyone is welcome.  Support your sport!

AVALANCHE SKILLS TRAINING LEVEL 1 IN PG

Many people have asked about Snowmobile Avalanche Safety training over the past few months.  So after some talks with a reputable training company from the Golden, BC area.  We’ve decided to host another Avalanche Skills Training Course Level 1 for the PG sled community.  Everyone is welcome, in fact encourage your friends, family and most importantly the people you ride with.  The dates for the course are March 10 & 11, 2012.  A one day classroom session starting at 8 am at the PGSC clubhouse at 12000 Scott Rd and then a hands on training day in the field, location to be announced but possibly Torpy, Dome Creek or McBride.  This course is worth every penny and is the recommended minimum level of backcountry education a snowmobiler riding in mountain/avalanche type terrain should have.  If you are interested in attending or want more information contact:

PGSC to Barkerville/Wells Ride Feb 25 & 26

A Ride from the Snowmobile clubhouse at 12000 Scott rd to  barkerville/Wells is in the planning stages.  The trip takes a day and an overnight stay in Wells then Back to the clubhouse the following day.  The tentative dates are February 25 & 26.   If you are interested in this great trip follow the website or call Garry 250-5624151.

Poker Ride Jan 29

The PGSC  is hosting a Poker Ride Jan 29 at the clubhouse, 12000 Scott rd.  Registration is 10am-12pm.  There are $500 in prizes.  Hands are $5 each or 12 for $25.  Come out and enjoy the scenic groomed trails on this 50km Poker Ride Loop.
